Rogue Waves and a Mediterranean Cruise-Ship Disaster 20100315102257
For centuries, mariners have told tales about sudden stories-high waves that emerged out of the open ocean without warning, strong enough to topple even large ships. Fact or fiction?<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/time/scienceandhealth/~4/F86ji36otQY" height="1" width="1"/>

Titanic cruise 20100315074056
Ok, I was joking about the hypothetic participants to the Titanic Cruise, but in reality I think: - it should be a vacation and not a sad memorial experience, in my modest opinion this is not useful - it won't be a very good deal considering the traces the cruise ship left in the possible cruise buyers - a cruise should be an exchange of happiness leaving our problems at home for twelve or fifteen days - if they cry, the level of the ocean will be dangerous .

Cheapest European cities to fly into and out of? 20091209074225
I live in Rome too and doing tours and shore excursions of ancient Rome I go sometimes to Ciampino airport (most of the times their Rome tour begins from their cruise ship at the port of Civitavecchia) and I have the occasion to pick up them after the baggage claim. The companies that Ron mentioned are all low cost companies and you can have your flight for very cheap: unfortunately those fares work only for European flights, and not for people coming from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean (USA, south America, Australia). Guiding them in a tour of Rome, (I do a Rome guided tour in english, french and spanish) I see that European tourists are much satisfied than american ones about their flight price (and companies say that the reason why the prices increased is the fuel price, but I don't understand why the fuel rate went down and the US Airways, Continental, American Airlines and Delta didn't).

Sea sickness? 20091112074056
Although I have not sailed on cruise ships, I use ferries at least once a year, including a 10-hour ferry. I used to regularly get ill on ships but now I have two strategies which have prevented me from getting ill: [list:4f2ab2479a]I wear Sea Bands for the entire voyage. They are discrete wrist bands that apply a little acupressure to the Nei-Kuan point. I would not be surprised to learn that this is a placebo, but it works for me! I always ensure I do not get too hungry. An empty stomach is the worst thing to have when sailing - little chance of this on a cruise ship, I would think![/list:u:4f2ab2479a] It would be awful if you were ill on your honeymoon, so perhaps it is better to do something else. Have a great trip, whatever you decide!.
