flying from LHR to JHB via Paris, our flight took off late due to a lady boarding with what appeared to be no boarding card (some mix up over an upgrade the steward said) and the headcount didnt tally for 6 counts. she eventually volunteered the info that she might be the extra head and by the time she had been escorted off and on again, 25 people had missed connecting flights which they would not hold, and one woman had missed a wedding. we had booked a 6 day ascent of kilimanjaro which the tour co agreed to move back 24 hours and air tanzania also agreed a free change of ticket. but air france would not alter the return date to accommodate us, even though we were stuck in paris for 24 hours as a result (1 flight a day to jhb only). they were rude and shouted at us when we asked them and said etickets were non changeable (although, clearly they can be changed, they just put it back 24 hours, for gods sakes).
